How It works Our Funds for Schools Fundraiser day works in 4 easy steps. Step One Contact our fundraiser team who will help you to organise one of our fundraising events, personalised Clothing Banks or Mobile Phone Boxes for your School. Once it has become clear exactly what your school wants to raise funds for, we can establish a fundraiser that works best for your school. We are completely flexible and free to work around your school's timetable to create the best fundraiser possible. Once the type of fundraiser has been agreed and the date has been set we can offer a free service to design posters and leaflets to advertise your school's fundraiser. To really stand out from the crowd and grab people's attention we can offer you huge discounts on full colour poster and leaflet printing through our sister company. Step Two Our Funds for Schools team arrives on site on the day of the fundraiser at the agreed time. All Clothes and Mobile Phones are loaded onto the scales in our vans where they are weighed and recorded. Payment for these is made immediately. We can provide a Skip on the day for the Scrap Metal to be safely loaded into. Due to its bulky nature this will have to be brought to our yard to be weighed on our larger scales. We would be delighted for one of your team to accompany us to see the Scrap Metal being weighed and then we can arrange payment there and then. Step Three Create a constant revenue stream by placing one of our personalised clothes banks on your grounds, which will display your school's name and logo. This will be emptied on a regular basis and payment will be made on a quarterly basis throughout the year. Remember the more clothes that are in the bank the more funds your school will receive. Why not also place a Mobile Phone Box in your school. This will be emptied anytime you advise us it is full and payment is made immediately. Step Four All items are brought back to our depot and are checked for quality and cleanliness. Clothes are then sent to countries less fortunate than ours to be re-worn and the rest is used in the production of mattresses and couches while scrap metal and mobile phones are broken down and used again in the production of items such as cars and electrical equipment.
